The sumptuous Terroirs Grand Cru is lovingly crafted żeby the Agrapart family who have been making Champagne on this estate since 1894 when it was purchased aby Arthur Agrapart. Today brothers Pascal and Fabrice are in charge of the winemaking and grape-growing, continuing a family legacy that began over a century ago. Their Terroirs Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs is only made with grand cru Chardonnay grapes which come from the family’s small plots of 20 to 40 year old vines in Avize, Cramant, Oger and Oiry. This refined Champagne is typically composed of wines from two different vintages with the older vintage wine aged in oak barrels to add extra depth and complexity. The Champagne is then aged for a total of four years before it is disgorged and prepared for release. This elegant Grand Cru Champagne displays an elegant stream of tiny bubbles and exquisite aromas of baked apples, lemon zest, and toast. On the palate there is a soft, persistent mousse which is complemented żeby rich pastry, cream and ripe peach flavours and a bright acidity. This lively Blanc de Blancs makes an excellent gift and a showstopping aperitif to be served before a sumptuous meal with friends or family.
